ATHENA’S INAUGURAL FUNDRAISER GENERATES $11,000 FOR THE LEADER OF TOMORROW SCHOLARSHIP
Athena Leadership’s annual fundraising event - A Midsummer Night’s Dream - was a huge success , bringing hundreds of Winnipeg’s young professionals together in generating over $11,000 during a Shakespeare-inspired evening at Manitoba Hydro Place. The evening garden party featured live entertainment, live auction, luxury vehicle exhibits, a 25-foot flower wall selfie station, signature cocktails, gourmet desserts, and more.
With the support of presenting sponsors Hendrick’s Gin and Mercedes Benz Winnipeg, the inaugural fundraiser donated over $11,000 to the Athena Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship Fund. Thanks to our outstanding sponsors, attendees and supporters, and the fundraiser committee for bringing Athena’s Midsummer Night’s Dream to life.
Athena’s Leader of Tomorrow Scholarship Fund, established in 2013, supports one young Manitoba woman each year who exhibits high leadership potential.
